I have used this silverline twice, and it's been a blessing so far.
It includes an automatic master filler so you dont have to keep refilling the master cylinder.
The pump itself is all metal, but the guage cover is plastic instead of glass.
The jars are plastic, which is normal, but I'd like to see glass bottles in the next release.
All in all, this is worth three times what I paid; $49.99 plus free two-day prime shipping.

It also includes a master cylinder auto refill kit, just hook it up to a small or large bottle of brake fluid and it keeps the master cylinder full while you bleed.
My opinion is this kit is worth 3 times what it costs.

This is a high quality metal unit that should last a long time. Comes with every thing you'll need to create pressure or vacuum and comes in a nice case.

This is definitely a good product, but it can take a while to do the bleeding solely with this tool. I think the best use of this tool is for bench bleeding parts (e.g. master or slave cylinders) before you install them. This tool does come with a lot of extra plugs and adapters to facilitate bench bleeding. I ended up spending about half a day bleeding my replacement clutch's hydraulic system/lines before it worked adequately. This is usually a quicker job with a second person pumping the brake/clutch, but I guess if you don't have a second person this is a decent alternative. It is built well and it works, but it's no panacea for your hydraulic bleeding woes.

Used on TWO brake jobs so far. This Mityvac works great, has better vacuum than another brand that I have tried. Broke the other "brand" I had, this is made much better! As long as you have good a seal everywhere pumps up good vacuum in a few trigger pulls. Only bought it for one man brake bleeding jobs but may find other uses. Gauge swivels to view at any angle you may need. Wish the vacuum/pressure release lever was smaller or located in a different place on unit. Seem to touch it by accident too easy when bleeding which makes you loose your vaccuum before you ready(not a real problem though). About the only minor drawback I could find or maybe I'm just a bit of 'klutz'. Seems to be plenty of fittings for any hook up you may need. Was worried that plastic fluid catch bottle was too small but it size works fine for me. Would highly recommend the Mityvac MV8500. Also nice carry case too. Stores all the pieces parts in their perspective slots. Nice Unit!!!
